Program Synopsis
A light-hearted action-comedy series for the 6-11 set, this "green" animated series makes its television debut in January 2010 on Canada's public TV broadcaster Radio-Canada (SRC). The eco-themes are wholly integrated into Walter's view of the world, his passion for green while not spoken, appears in every action Walter takes - whether racing to work on a bike or jumping overboard to pull garbage out of the ocean. Visual humor abounds in Walter's endearing and straight ahead slapstick antics which punctuate every episode.
Since first inception 12 years ago as a live-action stage show, creator-producer Sylvian Viau's stuck by Walter while building other success stories along the way. Founder of his own Montreal-based animation production services company in 2002, Image Entertainment has coproduced several successful television series including: TOTALLY SPIES, MARTIN MYSTERIES and MONSTER BUSTER CLUB.
Image Entertainment's fully developed WALTER & TANDOORI into a multi-platform television property, with accompanying webisodes (65 x 2), online games, a full-length feature, books and school kits.
